On the way up the hill from the Tavern and heading towards lake Side Drive and Number 2 Boatramp, you pass this little BBQ and Playground facility.

Quite a neat little spot for a family BBQ and rest in a shady area.

It is only a few minutes walk away from the famous Ninety Mile Beach, where swimming and fishing are enjoyed as well..

A secluded little area that still enjoys great views out to Ninety Beach across the Lake Tyers Beach Sand bar.

Free electric BBQ recently refurbished with stainless Steel hot plate.

Shady seats to eat the "take-aways" on in the fresh sea air.

Swings for the kids to play on while you enjoy the view and sizzle the sausages or singe a steak. The Tavern is a stone throw away and this is a great spot to spend with the kids after a delicious meal dining out.

There are toilets nearby on the other side of the Tavern/Beach car park.

There is also a BBQ and play ground at the Toorloo Arm car park as well. Check it out if this one is taken.

In front of the car park is the old Number 1 Boat ramp which is largely unused as the recent Lake Tyers openings have been away from that side of the bar and have left it rather shallow. Pretty well unusable except for the smallest of boats.

However it is a reasonable launching place for a canoe for example.
