Tying Knots

Knots need to be simple for beginners, but also strong.  These two knots will will satisfy most people's demands that use 6-12lb nylon filament.  They can be used to connect line to the eye of a hook, or the eye of a swivel.  Many types of very effective rigs can be made with just hooks, swivels and line (plus the sinkers of course).

There are also two short movies to give you an idea what is involved with these two similar knots.
